“Growing up in the lower mainland the PNE Fair was the indicator that summer had drawn to an end. And Playland was the highlight of the fair. I don’t know how young I was when I first rode the super slides but there was a photo in our house of me flying down them looking absolutely terrified.

And when I got to the bottom, I just wanted to go round again. That’s how I feel living here. I just want to get out and play everyday, and I am fortunate enough to do so.”
